Training

First International Courier is pleased to offer exclusive training dedicated to shipping and handling of dangerous goods.

First International Courier Systems under its education arm offers courses in the shipment of Dangerous Goods and Bio-infectious materials.

Anyone who offers dangerous goods for transport must be appropriately trained.

These courses are taught by trainers from Air Canada Cargo who provide a comprehensive course with the understanding of rules and regulations concerning air transportation of dangerous goods, focusing on biological and infectious substances and dry ice. The course focuses specifically on pharmaceutical class 6.2 (infectious substances) and class 9 (dry ice) substances as identified under the International Air Transport Association (IATA) current Dangerous Good Regulations directive.

Successful attendees will receive a certificate validating their competency in handling and shipping dangerous goods through a final exam.

We will be offering courses in the future on all manner of regulatory issues relating to security, Quality Assurance and shipping, FDA requirements, paperwork issues and export documentation.
